The Promotion People is dedicated to providing publicity for the arts and entertainment industry. We specialize in publicity for actors, television and film production companies, and other related companies throughout Canada and the United States.
Our diverse experience in all facets of the entertainment industry allows us to creatively strategize each of our client’s publicity needs. Lesley Diana – Founder, President and Publicist
Lesley Diana established The Promotion People in 1994. She is a Personal Publicist to some of Canada’s most talented actors, and is also an I.A.S.T.E. 669 Unit Publicist for many independent feature films. Her clients have graced the covers of Maxim, Enroute, Flare, Dolce Vita, Modern Dog, UMM and Femme Fatal. Television appearances have have included interviews on Entertainment Tonight, ET Canada, eTalk, Skye TV, CBC, The Biography Channel and national news programs.
Lesley's long time clients include Emmanuelle Vaugier, Fred Ewanuick, Gabrielle Miller, Terry Chen, Michael Eklund, Nicole Oliver, Cory Monteith, Wesley ‘Maesto Fresh Wes’ Williams, Zak Santiago and many more. She has produced many feature film Electronic Press Kits featuring actors Jerry Stiller, Brooke Shields, Peter Coyote, Wendy Crewson, Oscar nominee Abagail Breslin, Malcolm McDowell, Joe Lando, Kevin Zegers, Kevin Dillon and Tom Green.
Lesley and her team have produced some of the most impressive Red Carpet events at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games, the Vancouver International Film Festival and the Canadian Country Music Awards.
Her diverse career also includes producing television, and hosting a talk show. As owner of a Western Canadian retail chain, she was a finalist in the national Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. Lesley is also the author of a nationally published book. After graduating with a Bachelor of Education, she taught high school for nine years before opening her first business.

Jasmyn Pozzo – Publicist
Jasmyn has dedicated a number of years to developing her talents and expanding her expertise in the media/entertainment industry. She has been working in media and broadcasting for over five years, as both a journalist and behind the scenes in a production and PR capacity. Jasmyn’s various roles in the industry include work as an on-air reporter, newscaster, and news writer for broadcast radio, for which she was honored with numerous awards, including: CTV News Writer of the Year, Most Promising Current Affairs Producer, and Most Promising Reporter of the Year. Jasmyn continued to expand her knowledge of television production and celebrity culture with her recent work on a documentary-style entertainment series for TVTropolis.
In addition to her background in media, Jasmyn has built a vast portfolio in the public relations realm. She has completed a variety of results-driven publicity campaigns for clients, including top actors, musicians, television and film productions, and high-profile red carpet events. She has worked closely with major international media outlets across Canada and the United States, to promote her roster of clients and their projects.
Jasmyn is an accomplished graduate of the collaborative Media, Theory and Production program at the University of Western Ontario, the Broadcast Journalism Program at Fanshawe College, and graduated at the top of her class in the Entertainment Business Management program at the Vancouver Film School.
Jasmyn brings a solid knowledge base, a high degree of energy, creativity and commitment to the representation of her clients’ interests and is looking forward to future collaborations.
